He was Deputy Head of the Training Department of RMP, overseeing the management of all police training.

Mr. Thangavelu A. Suppiah entered government service in Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur in 1980. He began his service in the Judicial and Legal Services in 1995 as a First-Class Magistrate and served at Butterworth, Georgetown and Klang Magistrates’ Courts. In 2003 and onward, he served as a Senior Federal Counsel in the International Affairs Division and Research Division, as a Deputy Public Prosecutor in the Prosecution Division and Appeals and Trials Division in the Attorney General’s Chambers, Putrajaya. He has about 18 years of experience in trial and appellate advocacy at all levels of the court hierarchy. In 2016 he was posted as Deputy Public Prosecutor in Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission in Putrajaya until retirement in 2021. He joined Enforcement, Leadership & Management University (ELMU) in 2021.

Dr. Haji Norhafifi has 35 years of experience in managing disasters both local and international level; with senior management leadership role at the Malaysia Civil Defence Force (MCDF/JPAM), National Security Council (NSC/MKN) and the National Disaster Management Agency (APBN/NADMA) with vast theoretical and practical knowledge in the aspects of civilian preparedness, community resilience, emergencies and disaster readiness.
